The UK hub has been designed to make all your technical information required by the industry available. Each time a company purchases equipment from you, the necessary documentation and data you are required to supply will be collected in the Hub where it will be validated and maintained. The data and documents you need to supply to support your equipment will be clearly shown. That information will now be available to all purchasing companies who use the Hub. From that time on, each time you supply that piece of equipment, you will not be asked to supply all the supporting information again, this will avoid duplication of effort and speed up the sales process and you may potentially be paid more quickly. This will be the case until that piece of equipment is replaced or updated and the specification changes. In the future you will be able to bulk upload all your equipment information to the Hub using a simple process supported by the UK Hub team.
This initiative is designed to support business efficiencies in the UKCS but may ultimately be available to purchasers in other regions. The information collected will be aligned with an Industry standard RDL (Reference Data Library) which will govern the documents and data requirements required by equipment class. The Hub digital data exchange, collects standard equipment information, purchasers may request further information from you as a supplier, dependent on the intention of use.
